predecessors by offering an auto-calibration feature (no more
pot tweekers) and a digital display!
Calibration is simple and adjustment free with this new design,
which helps reduce maintenance time. Simply press the mode button
until the CAL LED becomes steady and let go. The unit will automatically
go to the zero portion of the calibration procedure and 30-90
seconds later the display changes to AC to begin the span portion
of the calibration process.

Gas Field Explosion
Niko Resources suffered a severe loss when the Tengratila gas field in
Sunamganj exploded. A fire, set off by the explosion, sent people nearby
fleeing their homes. No casualties have been reported; however, hundreds
of families have fled in panic after flames leapt into the sky. Heat can
be felt as far as four km (2.5 miles) from the burning field.

Oil Tank Explodes In Houston, Texas
A December oil tank blast in southwest Houston was felt up to 20 miles
from the plant site. US Chemical Safety Board investigators believe
the accident occurred when a 40,000-gallon chemical storage tank exploded
violently. The tank was approximately 10% full at the time of the event
and contained a raw material used in the production of polyethylene
wax.
