The Model FL3101 is an Ultraviolet-only
flame detector designed to detect fires and provide alarm outputs
directly from the detector while maintaining false alarm immunity.
It detects in the ultraviolet (UV) spectral range for optimized
speed of response.
FL3100 Series flame detectors' electronics are integral within
their explosion-proof housings, allowing detector information
to be processed at the point of detection. The detectors also
provide a 4-20mA stepped output signal indicating detector status.
The COPM (Continuous Optical Path Monitoring) self-test feature
checks the optical path integrity (window cleanliness) and the
detectors' electronic circuitry once every minute. CSA, FM,
ATEX, CE Marking, GOST, Kazakhstan approved, SIL 3 suitable, certified by FM to IEC 61508.
ProSoft
Technology, Inc., is a US company specializing in the
development of serial communication interface products for Allen-Bradley
/ Rockwell Automation platforms. They have independently tested
General Monitors IR2100,
S4100C,
and FL3100,
products for Allen-Bradley PLC/MODBUS connectivity. These products
were found to be MODBUS RTU compatible, and compatible with
ProSoft's
MODBUS Master and Slave products.
